RJJL, do you pick football games too? Who do you like in the Steelers/Patriots game? What about the over/under in the Eagles/Oakland?
ReplyDeleteThis is running, go to espn for some guy to make predictions about that.
DeleteBig deal, he picked Henderson, what a long shot that was.
DeleteHe got the top three right as well
DeleteHe had WCH with 59 and they scored 60 and he had them winning easily. He had CRN beating Conestoga and his 4/5 individuals just missed, that's not bad. A lot of guys had Russell, Wilson, Abert and James up there. I don't think anyone picked N/A to win but a lot thought it would be closer. Why was Foundation faster?
DeleteA lot less people and it was probably about the same temperature, which feels a lot colder earlier in the season
DeleteReiny Barchet silencing the doubters! Did NA run much better than they did at foundation? Also I think this proves that spread isn't as important of a stat as some make it out to be. Good Job PA!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great race by Nick Smart of OH. Where did that come from, I don't think anybody had him in their top 25.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Patrick Reilly?
ReplyDeleteI was wondering the same thing. Looking at the videos on Milesplit he was with the top pack at 2300 meters, and looked pretty good. My guess is that he fell or something. I was really hoping he would do well too.
Delete-GBC
I think he just fell apart. He was moving very slow around poop-out, and he probably just peaked at Districts.
DeleteBummer. Thanks for the info.

Russell or Barchet could have taken the day off and Henderson still wins. That's some serious depth.
ReplyDeleteHenderson would have won 79 - 92 if Russell didn't run, lost 91 - 93 if Barchet and Stratman didn't run, and won 76 - 95 if Collins and Stratman didn't run. Very impressive. It seems as if WCH is a slightly better NA if you take Russell out of the equation.
ReplyDeleteI just read his post and RJJL picked Henderson to have 3 in the top 12 team score, which is a weird number to pick, and 2 (or more) in the top 25 team score.
ReplyDeleteThey had 3 in the top 12 and 2 (or more) in the top 25. He also called them to have 59 points and they had 60. Do we need any more proof that this is actually coach Kelly?
He's illuminati man, that's all.
DeleteRussell is the only person to double double, right? (State gold -both individual and team-twice each)
ReplyDeleteDidn't think about that but I feel like you're right. Rare that a team fulfills even one of the 3 requirements (repeat indiv, repeat team, indiv and team same season). Gil and NA had a shot at it a couple years back. Worth looking into
DeleteHe's also the only one to take individual District XC gold three times.
DeleteMagaha won in 2011. Tony won twice
DeleteHe only took it twice ^^^
DeleteCoval got one team and two individual and Miller had zero team titles I believe so yes, Russell is the only "double-double" runner.
DeleteHe won the JV race in 2010, varsity in 2012 & 2013.
DeleteOh very astute of you. My bad I thought we were just talking varsity.
DeleteDistrict 1 "All-Star" team would have beat rest of state putting 5 in top 8. Also all 5 District 1 teams in top 10 in state. but who say's they're having an off year? Also Chesmont teams both win AAA
