10th Graders Running Fast Indoors

Just a little research I did today on another day off from school. Hoey has run the fastest Mile indoors that I could find online for a sophomore. The records indoor before 2007 are very shaky however, so I'm not sure if that is a PA AT Sophomore Record. Either way, he'll have another opportunity at states to run even faster.

Another Note: A lot of the guys on this list who were top 3 turned out to be state champions, but some faded into obscurity during their upperclassman years. As a whole, it seems as though doing well as a sophomore indoors does have a positive predicting ratio on future success.

  1. Try this with freshman too, it'd be interesting who were on the list their first year.
