Etrain seems to be back and high school blogging at www.therealtrain.blogspot.com so check out his previews. I took over for him so now that he's back that's probably where you guys will want to look. I have a multitude of papers and exams on Wednesday that I have been concentrating on and my previews will not be out until Thursday afternoon/night, so you can check out his in the mean time. I haven't read them and I do not plan on it.
Sorry! I did not mean any animosity towards Jarrett. I just wish to provide separate analysis, so I do not plan on reading them until I write mine, and then I will check them out. If ours sound the same then it's just because we have the same thought process, but not because I am 'copying' his work.

Do I detect a little tension there, Forrest? I was under the impression that you guys were friends. Would not be concerned about anyone jumping ship. I read his stuff and it's a good read, well-researched. I also like your stuff-again, well-researched and informative.

DeleteI think what Forrest meant was that his analysis will be totally separate from Etrain. Nothing personal, just a sentence to the readers who might consider reading only one. Better that he do his own analysis anyway. Its nice not to be biased by other rankings.

ReplyDeleteI recently became aware this post existed and figured I should interject before any rumors get flying.
Just want to say this blog is the place to come for info. Forrest is way more up to date with his info and has fantastic detail. He has done a great job carrying on after I left.
I just have a bit more time as a second semester senior and I'm having some fun doing some blogging here and there. It is not a competition, this blog is clearly the place to be.
As for me and Forrest we are still boys. We are running a big 4x8 this weekend at conferences so wish us luck!

run a blog together? Forrest is more informational and Train has more of a feel for the predictions and performances. When diverged into one unit the two of you could write an insane blog that would be comprehensible of stats and offer insight to runners as runners and most likely more accurate predictions.
