District 9 and 10 Previews!

District 6 A: Central Cambria placed 5th last season and has had an incredible season so far. They’ve beaten out Westmont Hilltop (last year’s winner) and have placed right behind Somerset Area (top D6 AA team) twice and beat them this past weekend. They should dominate this meet. Strong individuals are Bryce England (returning winner) along with Julius Eckroth of Richland. He’s had a very strong season. Also expect CC to have a couple guys in the top 7.

District 6 AA: Somerset returner 6 of 7 and was only 1 point away from Kiski Area @ Altoona’s Invitational. They’ve gone back and forth with a strong Central Cambria squad all season. Bedford High’s sophomore phenom’s Will Kachman and Zane Baker should be able to take 1-2 respectively. Kachman is turning into a stud, and he pulls Baker along with him. Nick Bastian and Ravi Desai of Somerset should also mix it up in the front pack.

District 6 AAA: State College should dominate this meet as they’ll be running in a pack with Foust and Stroh of Altoona. They should place 5 in the top 10. Other runners to look for are Mifflin County’s Darien Knudsen and David Snyder of Hollidaysburg Area.

District 9 A: Northern Potter seems to be the best team in the entire district, regardless of class. Kane is also a very solid squad should be able to grab the other qualifying spot. Oswayo Valley could upset Kane however. up   Individually it should be a 3 man race up front with Chris Hunt (Kane) Issac Wilson (North Clarion) and Spencer Cole (Oswayo valley) and I think Issac Wilson pulls off a mild upset to win this race around 1700.

District 9 AA: Punxsutawney should run away with this meet with a very young Bradford team possibly pushing them. Punxsutawney hasn’t raced as well as expected, since they returned 6 or 7 from last season. They’re a team of mostly juniors, who could peak at the right time and surprise. Lead by stud Bo Dinger who I expected to break out this season, but hasn’t. He still should dominate this meet out from however. Behind him some individuals to watch for are Tyler Nuzzo (Bradford)  Alec Freeman (Clearfield) and Mitch Schreiber (St Marys).

District 9 AAA: Dubois competes in district 10 expect Micah Cantaral to qualify individually at that meet

Special Thanks for Robert Meyer’s for help with some District 9 information!
District 10 preview coming out around 7 PM tonight! I had it written up, but it got deleted so I have to re-write it
